ZEST® (Zocular Eyelid System Technology) is a deep cleansing system that uses active, natural ingredients from the Okra plant (also commonly known as Ladies’ Fingers). A medical grade sponge applicator is used to apply the Okra based gel, gently massaging the eyelid margin to remove dirt, debris and bacteria that have caused blockages of the glands around the eyelids. These glands produce oils that are essential to keep the surface of the eye well lubricated with quality tear.
This procedure is safe and gentle, usually taking between 5-12 minutes depending on the depth of cleaning required.
